EBC is a neighborhood church nestled in the Wilmont Farms subdivision
here in Roanoke, Va. We are a Bible-believing congregation that celebrates
Jesus as the Christ (Son of God) and savior of all who would call on him for
forgiveness.
EBC was founded in1958 (here's a list of our charter members )
and moved into its current building a year later.
It has served the community for over 40 years, and with God's blessing will
continue to reach out with its ministries and the message of the gospel.
EBC is also active in community efforts, serving as a host for such
organizations as Habitats For Humanity, the American Red Cross, and
our local neighborhood group. We have also hosted computer classes, and have
a rapidly growing computer lab that is open to the public free of charge,
though please do call for an appointment.
EBC is currently under the leadership of Pastor Vic Reed, and together
we hope to continue to grow in both faith and number. The Lord has great things
in store for us, and if you'd like to be a part of that growth, then come join us
in the great commission.
